When I think of love I think of the ways we express it. ‘Touch’ and ‘Affection’ have been two of my favourites after ‘Words’. I'm a writer, so I'm kind of partial toward words. But I explored the three of them together to bring to you ‘Notes on Seduction’, crafted by me - Marilyn D'Cruz, and illustrated by Amanda Dias, my friend and cheerleader.

'NFTea at Eleven' features poems from my published book 'Tea at Eleven'. The pieces in this collection were written over tea-time in the morning on lazy Sundays, and at 11 pm, on nights that my mind couldn't stop thinking. I hope these poems pull on a heartstring and help you see a little girl discovering her place in this world, and a hopeless romantic discovering her place in someone's heart.

There are clouds of all kinds of feelings that travel with us wherever we go. Some days it's gloomy, some days these clouds reflect a whole lot of light. Sometimes they carry the tears we wish would fall and sometimes they carry the rain that could wash away a whole lot of pain. This collection is a series of free verses on the various emotions and feelings that cloud the mind; and how there's always a chance of healing.

Affirmations work as emotional encouragement for people. Very often, we get caught up encouraging others and forget that sometimes, we don't have enough support for ourselves. Affirmations teach us to motivate, encourage and look after ourselves, emotionally and mentally. These affirmations are for the creative souls; the minds and hearts that spend hours deep within human insights, understanding human behaviours and empathising with human emotions.
